We are a Reggio Emilia inspired preschool situated in Lenah Valley.

At New Horizons Preschool Lenah Valley, we are challenged and inspired by the Reggio Emilia Educational Project. We believe learning happens in relationships – with others, with materials, and with place. We view children as curious, competent, and capable citizens who are protagonists in constructing their own meaning. This belief informs our pedagogy and our organisational choices; we move away from ‘one-size-fits-all’ instruction toward a culture of learning, critical thinking, and advocacy.

At the heart of our program are highly qualified and experienced early childhood educators. Our educators have a strong understanding of the Reggio Emilia Educational Approach, Inquiry Pedagogies, along with the principles and practice elements of the Australian Early Years Framework.

Our campus is open from Monday to Friday, 8am to 5.30pm.

New Horizons Preschool is closed on public holidays and for a 4-week period over Christmas (the dates of our Christmas closure are advertised at the commencement of Term 4).
